Our history

BEAT Architects are a locally owned and operated architectural firm and have provided architectural services to this region for over 30 years

Originally started by Carl Brown Architect, Carl’s firm grew to become Brown Evans Architects. Carl subsequently acquired Tropical Architects when director Paul Cruice retired

The name BEAT originated from Brown, Evans and Tropical and has been trading as BEAT Architects since June 2010

The collective knowledge and the expertise of our team brings a diverse range of skills to all our projects. Our team is passionate about design and understand the impact that good architecture can have on both the surrounding environment and the people who use it

All projects at BEAT Architects benefit from a collaborative approach between the directors and staff. The Directors personally supervise each project to ensure project continuity and the highest level of quality
